Introduction
The FR550
The Institute of Physico-Chemical Biology (IBPC) is currently an FRC, supported by the CNRS Institutes of Chemistry and Biological Sciences.
The IBPC host five on-site laboratories/units: UPR 9080, belonging to the Institute of Chemistry, and four units under the auspices of Institute of Biological Sciences: three UMRs - 7099, affiliated with University Paris-Diderot (Paris 7) and 7141 and 8226 affiliated with University Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris 6) - and a CNRS FRE 3630.
The IBPC has about 200 researchers, engineers and technicians, postdocs and students. The buildings and green spaces cover an area of approximately 4900 m2 on the Pierre and Marie Curie Campus.
The FR550 supports research activities through its main tasks:
Managing the scientific and technical infrastructure of the IBPC (maintenance and monitoring of facilities, construction work, maintenance of premises and spaces ...)
Administering, providing and improving a set of common or shared services (budget, human resources, contracts, IT, telecommunications, logistics, dish-washing facilities, library, reception space ...)
Managing the crystallography platform and future instrumentation platforms (NMR, mass spectrometry ...) which will also be accessible to other labs of the Montagne Ste Geneviève.
Strengthening scientific leadership and fostering communication with the scientific and institutional environs.
