Tassadite DAHMANE

assadite DAHMANE is a postdoctoral scientist in the department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics at Columbia University, New York. Under the direction of Jean-Luc Popot, she developed the method of amphipol-assisted refolding of bacteriorhodopsin, which, in collaboration with Jean-Louis Banères, she then extended to folding G protein-coupled receptors produced as inclusion bodies. 
After her Ph.D., she decided to extend her expertise to the crystallization of proteins.

She is actually working on the crystallization of multiple proteins, including membrane proteins.
