Research area

Our group studies the solute compartmentalization of eukaryotic cells and the membrane transporters responsible for this organization, with a special interest for organelles of the endocytic and exocytotic pathways.

We currently focus on two intracellular transport processes :

  • the uptake of non-peptide neurotransmitters into synaptic vesicles
  • the egress of lysosomal hydrolysis products to the cytosol, a process largely unknown at molecular level.
